What I’ve learnt at elite level

I’ve been in a very fortunate position that I have been selected for everything and I have been injury free. But it’s not just about being selected it’s about keeping yourself fit. As a member of the squad it’s been a rollercoaster. We’ve been through a lot in terms of results, a roll over of coaches, you could list a lot of different things. We’ve stayed tight as a squad and for a new player coming in that was really important, I felt part of the squad really quickly. Over the two years, my position has drastically changed. I’ve gone from being quite a fresh younger one, now I’m a middle aged experienced one. It’s been a challenge.
