The Bristol side must now get something out of their trip to league leaders Surbiton on Saturday, while the Students head to Reading.

Stourport lead Division 1 North by two points over Bowdon heading into the Christmas break. There’s a three-way tussle in the South Division, with Isca & University of Exeter, Barnes and Sevenoaks all locked on 21 points, seven points ahead of Wimbledon 2s.

Universities hold top honours at the winter break, with Cardiff & Met leading North by three points from Durham University and Loughborough. Meanwhile in the South, Southgate are nine from nine, holding a six-point advantage after a stellar start to the season. Rivals Teddington are sitting second.
