Buy, Sell, or Sit: What should each team do at the 2023 NHL trade deadline

There comes a time when NHL teams have no choice but to look in the mirror, come to grips with where their season has ended up, and decide whether to go all-in, pack it in, or just keep rolling and let fate decide where they end up.

I’ve chosen the teams that I think will be the biggest players at the deadline and identified either who they should sell or who might be the missing piece in their bid for a championship. I’ve also identified a few who I think should sit still.
 

Sellers

Anaheim Ducks

With plenty of young, talented players on the roster and some cap-floor-forced free agent acquisitions, it wasn’t crazy to think that the Ducks might take a tentative step forward this season. Not even close. The Ducks are so bad that their star rookie is excitedly texting the presumptive 1st overall
