The Hockey Hall of Fame has announced the class of 2023, a group that includes five players and two builders.

The players are a goalie-heavy group, headlined by Henrik Lundqvist, including Tom Barrasso, Mike Vernon, Pierre Turgeon, and Caroline Ouellette. The two builders who will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame are Kent Hitchcock and Pierre Lacroix.

The Hockey Hall of Fame used all four of its male player spots and both of its builder spots but once again only inducted one female player despite having two spots available.

The Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held in Toronto on November 13.
