Talent Academies can be step in right direction for mental health in youth hockey

In recent times, there has been a lot of talk within football as to ensuring the mental health of youth players is adequately looked after. There is a wealth of discourse surrounding young individuals within the football academy system who get cut and the potential detrimental effects this could have on their mental health.

When an individual desires nothing else other than to play professional or international football, even just the prospect of being cut can be a devastating thought for them.
