The Minnesota Wild remain a club well-positioned for long-term success — you just need to squint past the final two seasons of buy-out-induced, dead-cap hell. The team has a young, exciting core that has reached the playoffs in four consecutive seasons. And they have plenty of exciting prospects on the way.

Thanks to some shrewd drafting and management maintaining, or even adding top draft picks, the club has found itself with a bevy of interesting young players. 

It’s not often you see a playoff contender as well-armed with draft picks and blue-chip prospects as the Wild.
